Customized Defectoscopes for Magnet Crack Testing

SENIS Defectoscope Systems are used as a quality control inspection tools in production lines to detect cracks and inhomogeneity in magnets and in non-magnetized blanks.
SENIS utilizes its innovative eddy-current probes that detect the non-uniform distribution of the eddy-current path in the cracked material. The eddy-current technology has several advantages over the alternative techniques:

• Cracks can be detected in magnetized but also in non-magnetized parts
• Very small cracks can be detected, even the size of few micrometers
• Not visible cracks and inhomogeneity under the coating or inside material can be detected
